Haven’t updated this in a while, so I thought I would get on and share a little… I’ll catch everything up from March on. So we rolled into Arkansas that first weekend to stay at Ferncliff and it iced over!!! We played at the camp that night and met a ton of really neat people and had a blast hanging out with the kids. Matt got his butt kicked in dodge ball, and T.K. was taken to school on the drums… by a girl!
We recorded in the studio with John LeCompt and learned a ton and had a blast while laying down our three newest songs. We got to hang out with Bonita and the family and spent a solid week working hard in the studio. The schedule was from 11:30 am – midnight; however, some nights we didn’t get out of the studio until about 1:30 am. The week was really tough, but we pulled through and have some good quality material to show for it now.
After finishing recording on Friday night we headed to Perry Town to play a show for a church that was having financial trouble. We were able to help them out and they were able to keep the church running for another month. We met some amazing people at that show like Nathaniel, Darla and (insert your name here_________)
Corpus Christi was a blast! If you get a chance you should check out Aftertraces from Dallas. Great music!
We are currently honing our skills and preparing everything for the Tour To Caio. It’s going to be a blast! Things kick off on 4/8 at Red Eyed Fly. This is going to be a big show, so make sure you guys are there and ready to rock!

Hey guys,
I thought I would get on here and give you guys a little update. We played at Juniors
on Friday and had a blast! Thanks to all of you that came out, and especially you Patricia. So Patricia had a birthday on Friday and she felt the need to dance not just with the music but with the band as well. Of course this has been put on Youtube, so you guys will have to take a look.
Today, T.K., Eric, and I all decided to go spelunking. Eric and T.K. went yesterday and got through a rough part of Airman’s cave and decided that I should go with them. So I went and it was the hardest thing I have done to this date. I really didn’t think I would panic like I did, but I was able to conquer that fear with the support of those guys as we wiggled in and out of this insanely tight place. I went with them for a ways, but had to drop out because… let’s just face it, I’m not in any kind of shape. They went on quite a ways and got lost… you guys will have to get them to tell the story… it’s pretty crazy!
We are getting ready for the Waco show and are excited to get to meet some new people. We are also preparing for a show in Perrytown and for recording in March. Keep in touch because this cd should be pretty good. For all of you Austinites, we are playing at The Red Fly and it is going to be another great show. Hope to see you guys there!

January 16th, 2009 :: T.K.
Hey kids! I finally have time to write to you the wonderful happenings that are going down with Lost July. There are a few changes that still need to be made with the site but for the most part I am pleased. If anything isn’t working, feel free to let me know.
We have a lot of things going on. First and foremost, we are recording soon! We have a session lined up at the first of March. We’ll probably record 4 songs. We know for sure that we want to do the songs Run and Carrie. It’s a toss up for the others.
We’ve got a solid lineup of gigs for the next few months. We really want to try and get into Dallas to play a show for all our peeps up there. I think we might be playing at the Door in Plano at the end of February. To all my home-plates in and around the Big D, I’ll be sure to let you know. Anywho, that’s all I have for now. Peace! -- T.K.
